Charles Daniels

The English tenor, Charles Daniels, was both a Chorister and a Choral Scholar of King’s College, Cambridge, spending the intervening years at Winchester College. After reading Natural Sciences and Music at Cambridge, he won a Foundation Scholarship to the Royal College of Music in London where he studied under Edward Brooks. He was a major prize-winner in both the Great Grimsby International Competition for singers and in the final of the 1986 GKN English Song Award, winning the Hubert Parry Prize for the best programme in that competition.
